Terms of Reference
Whereas the Director of the University Medical Service Office shall have the day-to-day managerial responsibilities for the efficient and effective running of the University Medical Service Office and he shall report administratively to a Pro-Vice-Chancellor, the University Health Service Committee is responsible for recommending to the University on the planning, development, and any policy matter of the University Medical Service Office.
The Committee may request and shall receive proposals and reports to be submitted by the Director of the University Medical Service Office on the following matters and to make recommendation thereon:
(a) the development of programmes to meet specific needs;
(b) the operation and the service-delivery arrangements of the University Medical Service Office;
(c) the efficient deployment of financial resources allocated to the University Medical Service Office;
(d) the efficient deployment of human resources assigned to the University Medical Service Office; and
(e) any complaints filed against the University Medical Service Office
